The 4th track on El Guincho’s 2007 self released album, Alegranza (re-released on Discoteca Oceano last Tuesday), is a 5 minute Calypso, Afro, Island trip, with repetitive percussion and vocals a la Panda Bear’s critically acclaimed Person Pitch. I have no idea what he’s saying, but it sounds romantic and lovely.
