BLK JKS, the reggae/rock Johannesburg band that will hopefully put “Lakeside” on their upcoming full length (After Robots) so it can be on my 2008 playlist, recently graced the cover of Fader’s Africa issue and performed a special performance of their song “Molalatladi” for the magazine’s Open Bar series at Heathers in the East Village on Wednesday (that was one sentence, btw).
