Coldplay are ready to back up that Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends thing (the #1 pre-order in iTunes history) with a massive North American tour that just got extended all the way through November (and also saw a few cancellations - something about magical balls?). After what already looked like a pretty tour-ish schedule for the summer, shoe-gazer, alt-rock heroes My Bloody Valentine have added to the list, creating an official North American Tour, including a pair of shows at both New York’s Roseland and Santa Monica Civic in L.A. It all kicks off with 5 shows at London’s Roundhouse in late June (which are all very much sold out), and continues through the festival circuit (Fuji Rock in Japan, Isle of Wright in England, etc.).

Lead man Kevin Shields did reveal plans for a new record last year (or possibly two), but nothing else on that quite yet.
